Hi! We’re Rita and Ant, co-owners and operators of Snowdrift Coffee. Our journey in specialty coffee took us across the country, but we ultimately returned to the Midwest to establish something truly our own. With over 35 years of combined experience in roasting, operations, training, and quality control, we set out to bring exceptional coffee to our community.
Though we both spent many years on both coasts, the Midwest has always felt like home. With personal ties in the region, Roscoe, IL became the perfect place for us to settle and start our roastery. Drawing from our experience at some of the most well-respected companies in specialty coffee, we built Snowdrift Coffee to reflect our values: quality, sustainability, and community.
As a true Mom & Pop roastery, it’s just the two of us, ensuring every batch is roasted with care. We prioritize ethically sourced coffee, paying well above C-market prices and highlighting specific farms whenever possible—all while keeping our prices accessible.
